Giving Back
THE INNER SHINE CLINIC’S PROJECTS
Catherine grew up in New Zealand in a mixed race household with an East African father and Welsh mother who instilled in her from a young age that is was important to nourish and give back to others. An African proverb comes to mind, “I am, because you are.” We are all energetically connected and in this life together: this is essential to acknowledge before we can start healing our planet from a place of love rather than fear. No one should suffer unnecessarily; we are all just walking each other home. At The Inner Shine Clinic we are doing just that in our own way, helping to create a world where people feel safe, loved and enough, just as they are. We have seen such powerful shifts and results in our clientele that we are now committed to healing the planet, one community at a time. We are here for the greater good of all.
Our vision is to not only help bring tapping, mindfulness and self-healing into the mainstream and school system, but provide services – wherever possible – to the world’s most vulnerable populations. There are those in need who want to make changes in their life but can’t afford to access our services and programmes. We want to help them receive this healing as a gift.
When you invest in yourself and these treatments, you are in turn investing in our vision in a very real way by subsidising The Inner Shine Clinic’s “giving back” initiatives.
First up: we are developing “Shine On Sisters” programmes for young women struggling to feel good about ‘being me’. They focus on fostering positive self-image for teenage girls struggling with digital overload, school stresses and family challenges.
